Total Video Converter is a comprehensive tool, which is by far the best conversion software on the internet with so many others already competing for supremacy. Total Video Converter has reached heights where no other could reach. If you don’t believe me then, take a trial of the software which will install on any Microsoft Windows Operating System from 98 until XP, and experience it yourself.
The software has many advanced features which makes it a fascinating video playback, conversion and burning model, released by iTinySoft. The best part of this software is its multiplexing feature using which you can combine two different file formats to get single output file. Along with that it also has a de-multiplexing feature which can allow the user to split the audio/video streams to capture them in separate files.
An awesome user friendly application interface makes is very easy to use program for all ages. Even a Mr. nobody can understand and make the most out of it. A Video conversion can be performed in very simple steps. The process goes in a sequence where you have the ability to select the desired codec followed by the video quality and finally the resolution of the output movie.
First you select your desired video file which can be one of many formats available today like for example, all supported known audio/video formats including MPEG, MPEG4 for Mobile phone & iPod, DivX/XviD AVI, WMV, RM, RMVB, FLV, FLI, ASF, MP3, DirectShow, DVDs .info, QuickTime, CVD, SVCD, and many others.
Note: You can also select multiple files with different video formats and encode them into one single output file.
Second step would be to select the desired output format. The option available for an output format are similar to the input format, like for example, you can choose an MPEG file and convert that into a DVD .info format. You can choose the encoder between the built-in encoder and the DirectShow encoder with Microsoft DirectX9. Both of them have been equipped with advanced feature where in the user can cut, crop and combine different video files.
The third step is to click on the ‘Convert Now’ button and watch the conversion process which would be done in much lesser time as compared to a standard DivX conversion.
Once the conversion is done, you will be prompted to either select the option to burn the file to a disc or leave it for some other time. This ‘Media Burner’ application is packaged along with Total Video Converter and uses the windows burning kernel or a 3rd party burning software installed on user’s computer like NERO BURN ROM etc to write the file to the CD/DVD disk.
Not only that, if today, you only want to watch a movie, then, you can use the ‘Total Video Player’ for movie playback no matter what the movie format is! As long as the movie format is compatible and supported for playback the movie will play. The Total Video player interface looks very similar to a Winamp interface giving a known experience. The software has no noticeable drawbacks.

It does what it should This software is good, it does all what it is expected to do. It is easy to use, but can sometimes "eat" a lot of memory, if you try to convert big files. The weak point is the interface, which is looks very old, not like the today's software look. Overall, I recommend it. +2 |
